This one is about growing up a little bit and becoming the person I want to become. I have been known to let myself shrink when met with resistance in order to not hurt other people's feelings, but I can gladly say that since writing this song I've found myself surrounded by beautiful people that I can say no to. There came a point in a specific relationship where I had to realize the role I played in allowing myself to be lied to, and how we all have the ability to get brought down if we aren't careful. This song explores themes of known evil vs unknown evil and the familiarity a lot of people cling to as we fall back into blatant wh1te nat10nalism as a country.
